The objective of this document is to highlight the proper conduct of the students within the school campus and the disciplinary actions accompanying any violation to these rules. Students are requested to read carefully the rules out lined in this document and they should adhere to them.
Play Ground Rules:
All games activities on the play ground are not allowed except during the P.E class and under the supervision of the P.E teachers.
Fighting is a major offense. Play fighting or any kind of fighting is not allowed.Fighting may result in suspension.
Littering trash in the playground is forbidden.
School Rules;
Students are expected to obey all of the school rules.
Students will use the main gate to enter and exit from the school.
No student will be allowed to attend the school without wearing the proper school uniform.
Students are expected to be on time for the school assembly in the morning and for all classes during the school day.
According to the rules of the Ministry of Education mobile phones are not allowed at school.Any mobile confiscated will be returned at the end of the academic year to parents.
A written excuse must be submitted by the parent to the school administration for any student absence.
English is to be spoken all around the school, and in all classes except Islamic and Arabic classes.
Students are expected to take care of all school properties in classes, library,labs and the playground.
No gum chewing,No eating or drinking in the school building is permitted.
Smoking is strictly forbidden in the school, offenders will be suspended.
Students are expected to respect the school staff and their instructions.
Students must bring their diary to school everyday.
Using bad language and fighting is not allowed in the school.
Students are expected to respect each other,offensive or disrespectful language will not be accepted.
Parents must inform school if they would like their child to leave the school for any particular reason.
As per the rule of the Ministry of Education students who are absent from school for more than 15 days during the academic year may not be allowed to sit the final exams.
Cheating during exams is a major offense.
Students who are dropped off at schoool,other than by the school bus should be picked-up directly from the school at the end of the last class.
Students should prepare and submit their H.W as instructed by their teachers.
Displinary Actions:-
For general minor misbehavior such as:
Disobedience in class.
Causing disorder in class.
Using abusive language.
Lack of attention in class.
Actions to be taken:-
Verbal warning by subject teacher.
After 3 verbal warnings, the student is to be taken to the supervisor.
Supervisor will talk to the student and advise him/her about better conduct for 2minutes and then would give him break time detentions. After school detention is implemented after break detention.
Fighting- student being directly or indirectly involved in a fight for the first time:
1. They will have an after school detention and their parents will be called.
2. Repeated offense will result in school suspension.
Damaging school property-Ranges from after school detention to out of school suspension.
Chewing gum.Teacher will ask the student to dispose the gum.Persistent offenders will result in break time detention to after school detention.
Out of school uniform . An Adminstrator will send the student home to change or call their parents to bring their proper uniform.
Smoking will result in school suspenion.
Mobile phones are not allowed in the school.According to the(Ministry of eduaction’s rules) the mobile will be confiscated until the end of the academic year .Parent should collect the mobile.
English is to be spoken around the school. Student breaking the rule will pay 5 Dhs.
Failing to submit H.W:
Verbal warning by subject teacher.
After first warning student will be taken to the academic advisor where necessary action will be taken and parents will be called.
After calling the parents, school detentions will be implemented to do the missing H.W.
Note: Parents will be informed 1 day prior to any after school detention.
